Trading Range:
Nifty opened gap down at 10742 on Monday and made a high and low of 10752 and 10294 respectively before closing negative at 10451.
Review/Outlook:
For the day, support for Nifty exists at 10200 and 10000 levels whereas resistance for Nifty stands at 10650 and 11000 levels.
Review/Outlook:
Bank Nifty opened a gap down at 27031, made a high of 27092, low of 25923, and closed negative at 26463. For the day, support for Bank Nifty exists at 25900 and 25500 levels whereas resistance for Bank Nifty stands at 27000 and 27500 levels. |

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Jack Ma’s networth is at $44.8 billion while Ambani’s continues to be India’s richest man with a fortune of $41.8 billion. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos continues to be the world’s richest man even though he lost $5.6 billion on Monday. (BL). |
UAE-headquartered GP Global is set to provide non-conventional energy solutions to Indian industries. The oil and gas trading firm is setting up a biomass boiler for metals major Hindalco Ltd, even as it is in talks with pharmaceuticals and ceramics players, among others, to provide similar solutions. Energy titan Saudi Aramco said Tuesday it will boost its supply of crude oil to 12.3 million barrels per day in April, flooding markets as it escalates a price war with Russia. (BL). |
The domestic tourism industry is likely to suffer a revenue loss of at least $300 million with a large number of tourists deciding to cancel their trips due to the coronavirus scare, according to an industry insider. There has been a drop of 67 per cent in inbound tourism since January as compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, there is a dip of 52 per cent in the outbound travel for the same period. It seems March is going to be even worse than February. (ET).

DJIA and NASDAQ Composite
US markets closed sharply higher on Tuesday following the Dow Jones and S&P 500's worst daily showings since the Global Financial Crisis in the previous session. The Dow Jones Index closed at 25,018, up 1,167.14 points by 4.89%. The Standard & Poors 500 index closed at 2,882 up 135.67 points by 4.94%. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 8,344, up 393.58 points by 4.95%.
FTSE 100
UK markets finished flat on Tuesday, with the bounce from the heavy losses sustained during the previous session petering out as reports indicated that measures to help the US economy might take some time to make their way through Congress. The FTSE 100 index closed at 5,960, down 5.54 points by 0.09%. |

Asian share markets started trading early in the morning on Wednesday on a positive note as the investors will be closely watching the US markets. Nikkei is currently trading at 19,962, up 95.13 points by 0.48%.
Precious Metals
Gold futures settled lower on Tuesday for the first time in four sessions as U.S. stocks looked to rebound from their steepest one-day loss since 2008 and as government bond yields jumped off historic lows seen after a coronavirus and crude-oil sparked plunge on Monday.
Base Metals
Three-month prices of base metals trading on the London Metal Exchange rebounded at the close on Tuesday March 10 due to suggestions that the worst of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in China may be over.
Crude Oil
The sharpest one day fall in oil markets since the 1991 Gulf War on Monday revealed familiar cracks in the corporate credit market. |
