Trading Range:
Nifty opened gap up at 11919 on Tuesday and made a high and low of 11959 and 11882 respectively before closing positive at 11940.
Review/Outlook:
For the day, support for Nifty exists at 11880 and 11790 levels whereas resistance for Nifty stands at 11980 and 12020 levels.
Review/Outlook:
Bank Nifty opened gap up at 31045, made a high of 31298, low of 30974, and closed positive at 31236. For the day, support for Bank Nifty exists at 31000 and 30800 levels whereas resistance for Bank Nifty stands at 31400 and 31600 levels. |

The ground appears all set for a swift roll-out of the new Bharat Stage-6 emission norms from April 1, 2020, as the largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has reported encouraging trend towards adoption of BS-VI-compliant petrol cars - even if with a tad higher cost. (BL). |

Pharma firm Lupin on Tuesday said it has launched in the US generic potassium chloride for oral solution used for treatment and prevention of hypokalemia. After a wait of more than a year, IL&FS Construction and Engineering has disclosed its December 2018-ended quarter results. The company has reported profits of Rs 34.4 crore, a huge rise when compared to Rs 32 lakh in profits it posted in the December 2017-ended quarter. Revenues came in at Rs 300 crore, a 34.7 per cent dip when compared to revenues of Rs 459.5 crore it posted in the December 2017-ended quarter. (ET). |
Highway developer Dilip Buildcon on Tuesday said it has bagged an order worth Rs 2,122.74 crore from Northern Coalfields Ltd, a subsidiary of Coal India, for removal of overburden at a mining project in Madhya Pradesh. (BS). |

Private traders have placed orders for importing onions and at least 1,000 tonnes are expected by month end, which will help ease retail prices that is still ruling high at over Rs.60/kg, a senior government official said on Tuesday. (BL). |

Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel lost over 49 lakh users in September this year, while rival Reliance Jio added 69.83 lakh new users to its network, as per data from sectoral regulator TRAI. Total wireless subscribers (GSM, CDMA and LTE) increased to 117.37 crore at the end of September 2019 from from 117.1 crore at the end of August, a monthly growth of 0.23 per cent, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) said. Wireless subscription in urban areas declined to 65.91 crore at the end of September, while that in rural areas increased to 51.45 crore, it added. As per the data, Bharti Airtel lost 23.8 lakh users in September to take its total user base to 32.55 crore. Similarly, Vodafone Idea lost 25.7 lakh users in the month to take its total user base to 37.24 crore. However, Reliance Jio added 69.83 lakh users in September, taking its total user base to 35.52 crore. In more news, a day after Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea announced their decision to increase tariffs, Reliance Jio on Tuesday said that it will increase telecom service charges in the next few weeks, among other measures. DJIA and NASDAQ Composite
US markets ended mixed on Tuesday as investors struggled to shrug off concerns around the prospect of a U.S.-China trade deal and dealt with disappointing earnings. The Dow Jones Index closed at 27,934,
down 102.20 points by 0.36%. The Standard & Poors 500 index closed at 3,120, down 1.85 points by 0.06%. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 8,571, up 20.72 points by 0.24%.
FTSE 100
UK markets extended their gains on Tuesday, helped along by a weaker pound and some well-received corporate releases, as investors mulled mixed news on the trade front. The FTSE 100 index closed at 7,324, up 16.10 points by 0.22%. |

Asian shares lumbered lower on Wednesday as the Sino-U.S. trade talks produced nothing but a stream of conflicting messages, while concerns about a glut of supply saw oil prices suffer their biggest spill in seven weeks. Nikkei is currently trading at 23,277, down 15.65 points by 0.07%.
Precious Metals
The risk-off tone helped spot gold firm 0.1% to $1,474.14 per ounce XAU= on Wednesday.
Base Metals
The three-month nickel price traded on the London Metal Exchange continues to languish below $15,000 per tonne at the close on Tuesday November 19 while fresh inflows continue to pressure nickel futures.
Crude Oil
Brent crude LCOc1 futures stood at $60.91 a barrel early on Wednesday, after sliding 2.6% overnight, while U.S. crude CLc1 recouped a single cent to $55.22. |
