Trading Range:
Nifty opened gap up at 12068 on Tuesday and made a high and low of 12069 and 11956 respectively before closing negative at 11994.
Review/Outlook:
For the day, support for Nifty exists at 11940 and 11880 levels whereas resistance for Nifty stands at 12070 and 12120 levels.
Review/Outlook:
Bank Nifty opened gap up at 31920, made a high of 31937, low of 31503, and closed negative at 31613. For the day, support for Bank Nifty exists at 31400 and 31200 levels whereas resistance for Bank Nifty stands at 31800 and 32000 levels. |

Fairfax's Thomas Cook (India) on Tuesday announced that it has signed an agreement with Thomas Cook United Kingdom (UK) to acquire the rights to the Thomas Cook brand in India, Sri Lanka and Mauritius for a one-time payment of approximately Rs 13.9 crore. The company in a statement said that it signed am agreement with AlixPartners, which is appointed Special Managers, to acquire the rights. (BL). |

Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech launched its advanced version of rotavirus vaccine – Rotavac 5D, to tackle viral diarrhoea, on Tuesday. While all other variants of rotavirus vaccine manufactured by competitors are at 2-2.5 ml per dose, Bharat Biotech has concentrated the larger dose into 0.5 ml quantity, an official from the company said. . Electronica Finance (EFL) has raised over Rs 100 crore ($15 million) through issuance of Compulsorily Convertible Preference shares to fund new rooftop solar projects. (ET).

Sugar mills in India produced 18.85 lakh tonnes (LT) of sugar till November 30 in sugar season (October to September) 2019-20, 54 per cent lower than the 40.69 LT produced during the corresponding period in the previous year, said an Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) press release on Tuesday. Coal India Ltd’s (CIL) coal production dipped by around 4 per cent to 50.02 million tonne (mt) in November 2019 compared to 52 mt the same period last year. Coal offtake dropped by around 7 per cent to 47.37 mt in November against 51 mt the same period last year. On a month-on-month basis, however, coal production was higher by around 27 per cent in November compared to October 2019, said a press statement issued by CIL. Similarly, coal offtake for November 2019 grew by almost 17 per cent on a month-on-month basis to 47.37 mt as against 40.5 mt in October this year. (ET). |

DJIA and NASDAQ Composite
US markets recorded further losses on Tuesday following comments from Donald Trump at Nato's 70th-anniversary event in London. The Dow Jones Index closed at 27,502, down 280.23 points by 1.01%. The Standard & Poors 500 index closed at 3,093, down 20.67 points by 0.66%. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 8,521, down 47.34 points by 0.55%.
FTSE 100
UK markets finished sharply lower on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump suggested that a trade deal with China may not be reached until after the November 2020 US elections, while a stronger pound and uninspiring data also weighed. The FTSE 100 index closed at 7,159, down 127.18 points by 1.75%. |

Asian shares extended their losses on Wednesday after U.S. President Donald Trump said a trade deal with China might have to wait until after the 2020 presidential election, dashing market hopes for a quick preliminary agreement. Nikkei is currently trading at 23,096, down 283.93 points by 1.21%.

Gold XAU= was steady at $1,477.20 per ounce on Wednesday.
Base Metals
The three-month nickel price on the London Metal Exchange was lower at the close of trading on Tuesday November 3, with this morning’s fresh cancelation of 1,326 tonnes doing little to negate selling pressure, while the metal’s benchmark cash/three-month spread reached its widest level since July.
Crude Oil
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude CLc1 steadied to gain 0.61% to $56.44 per barrel, after sliding following Trump’s comments on Wednesday. |
